A lavvo was historically used as a temporary dwelling used by the Sami people of northern Scandinavia. It has a design similar to a Native American tipi but is less vertical and more stable in high winds. With this historical background in mind, it is a different and exciting place to sleep. Our lavvos are in different sizes dependant on your group size, and in the evenings, the fire place in the middle of the lavvos is a great place to socialize. The lavvos are situated close to the base where you have access to toilets, showers and our reception.
